Hello friends,
A few things. Two shows tomorrow, a new website, a new record in the works, and more places to find me talking when I should probably be playing a song.
CALGARY — TWO SHOWS TOMORROW, SATURDAY OCTOBER 31
I’m at Ironwood Stage & Grill tomorrow:
- 2 p.m. matinee — doors at 1 p.m. Tickets & details
- 8 p.m. evening show — doors at 7 p.m. Tickets & details
Songs, stories, singing together. Four chords and the truth, capo’d as required.
Bring your friends. Bring your enemies. They probably need a night out too.
NEW WEBSITE — SUNDAY NOVEMBER 1
This Sunday, I’m celebrating the launch of craigcardiff.com.
Music, show dates, videos, photographs, the Book of Truths, Song Collab Studio and Northern Tracks—all finding a home in one place.
There’s also a music store. Which brings me to…
TIME MACHINE — PRE-ORDERS ARE OPEN
My new album, Time Machine, is currently in pre-production for a spring/fall 2027 release.
Songs are being worked on. Plans are being made. Despite the title, we still have to make the record in the usual forward-moving order.
You can pre-order it now at craigcardiff.com, choosing either:
- Vinyl + a digital download
- A book + the digital album
Your early support helps make it happen. Thank you for being part of this before there’s even a finished record to hold.
OLDER RECORDS. NEW VINYL. YOUR HELP.
I’m also crowdfunding vinyl editions of records from the catalogue, including Floods & Fires, Goodnight (Go Home), Judy Garland (You’re Never Home…), Gingers on Barrington Street and more.
The idea is simple: each title needs 80 paid pre-orders to move forward with a pressing.
Pick the record you’d like on your shelf. Pre-order it. Tell the friend who borrowed your copy years ago and apparently considers it theirs now.
Each listing has the campaign, shipping and refund details.
Find your favourite & help get it pressed
PATREON IS HERE TOO
I’m also launching my Patreon community—a place to keep sharing things between shows.
You can join for free, have a look around, and choose a paid membership if you’d like to help support the music.
Here’s what’s there, and what’s coming:
Book of Truth readings
Reading from the notebooks people have written in at shows over the years. Honest things. Funny things. Things that stay with you.
Teeny Tiny Desk Concert
Short videos and early episodes from the podcast. Also on Spotify, if that’s where your ears live.
Live From Everywhere
Live performances and recordings you can watch wherever you are. Your couch has excellent parking.
Talking At Shows
Coming soon: conversations with people after shows. A series built around the fact that neither of us has gone home yet.
There’s also a growing collection of new music and videos and official music videos.
ALL THE UPCOMING SHOWS
Europe, the UK, more Canadian dates, and shows into 2027. The full calendar and ticket links are here:
let’s keep in touch
Show dates, new music, Time Machine updates and stories from the road, straight to your inbox. Sign up for my emails here. Less hunting through the internet. More music.
Thank you for listening, coming to shows, supporting the records, and telling people about the music. It makes a difference.
See you soon,
Craig
P.S. Calgary friends: tomorrow. Ironwood. 2 p.m. or 8 p.m. Forward this to someone who needs to get out of the house.
